  East Asia Graduate Seminar, Spring 2006  
  In spring 2006 EAPS launched an East Asia Graduate Seminar designed for graduate students across campus working on East Asia related dissertations. The seminar introduced students to directions in East Asia scholarship across the disciplines. Experts from on and off campus joined to discuss scholarly debates and trends and to engage students on their dissertation research.

  In 06-07 EAPS will plan a graduate certificate program: it will include participation in this seminar as well as some language training and additional coursework. The newly appointed Graduate Advisory Committee will assist in this planning.
